熊野古道の撮影スポットとしてよく使用されている茶屋です。無料の休憩所があり、地元の方が交代で店番しているそうです。地元の方と話しているとこの辺りの土地の事情をいろいろ教えてくれました。最近は獣害（猪、鹿、猿）がひどいそうです。南方熊楠の自然保護活動によってこの辺りの森は伐採されずに残ったといいますから、地元の方も熊楠には感謝しているとのことでした。

雰囲気最高な休憩ポイント。朝早く到着し過ぎて残念ながら閉まってました。野中の清水で水補給してる間に丁度開けて準備中でした。お邪魔しないようにお姉さんにおはようございますだけして通過。残念なのでまた来ます。紅葉の時期は凄そうですね。

写真を撮っていると「もう見頃は過ぎてしまってね～」と茶屋の方が声をかけてくれましたが、とんでもないです。紅葉と落葉がたっぷりでとても綺麗でした。地元の方が交代で茶屋守りをしてくださっているようです。ありがたくお茶をいただきました。

The owner of this tea house is a very kind lady. We started from hasshinmon oji, through the trail till the tea house. There is no vendor machine in the half way, so when we arrived, we were extremely thirsty. The owner provided us the free cold tea, and also free gudo gift. We were soooooo happy and felt sooooo lucky to find this place and want to express our thanks to the owner for her gracious...

Le bénévole sur place parlait français, super sympa, bel accueil ! Juste c'est compliqué en tant que pelerin qu'il n'y ait pas de poubelles sur la route. Nous dormions dans des campings et tous n'ont pas de poubelles donc nous avons dû garder avec nous nos déchets pendant plusieurs jours alors que nous randonnions,...
