東根市民の山として、北の 大森山 と並んで この 若木山 があります。 山形✈️空港 と 陸上自衛隊 第6師団に 挟まれた、標高200m足らずの独立峰ですー。麓には 若木山公園があり、北側の神社に車、１０台ほど止められる🅿️🚗駐車場があります。 山頂には車ではいけませんが、道は、綺麗に舗装されており 歩いて ２５分ほどで山頂です。 山頂からは山形空港、陸上自衛隊の駐屯地ガ一望できます。 #若木山 #山形空港 #陸上自衛隊第6師団 #若木山公園

ちょっとした散歩にも適した公園です。 ふもとには公園らしい遊具が揃っており、山へと続く歩道は、開けた盆地の中にぽつんと丘のように存在する、若木山の山頂まで続いています。 若木山に登ると、山形空港が一望でき、ヘリコプターの訓練なんかもよく見えます。 周囲には高い建物もないので開けており、木々が邪魔しない季節ならば西方向に街並みが眺められ、良い感じです。 数台程度置ける駐車場もあり、トイレもあります。 ちょっとした休憩、時間...
