Amazingly huge. There's a train on wheels (310yen) that will drop off the visitors in 5 different stops. In spring the 3rd stop is the best for flower garden and cherry blossom viewing. There's a biking area, boating and swimming on summer. Entrance fee is required . Come early to enjoy a long walk... I came out of Tachikawa station but can't find where the store I was looking for...someone told me they don't know where it was but she and her friends are meeting up to go to a huge park she hasn't been to... that's when I decided to follow any group with bento food ...that led me to this...
Read moreGreat place to spend time with family. Really enjoyed time here. Please kindly go in weekdays as there will be less rush. Also try for train ride. Ponds are wonderful and flowers are beautiful. Place is very near to station. Japanese garden was pleasent surprise. Carry your food. Food inside Is costly and not that great for all. Do visit giant green area in the middle of the park. Pond new Japanese garden is very mistic. Lot of places for seating and eating food. Also try bicycle ride. Very cheap...
Read moreVery widely and enjoyment place. It is good for Sakura cherry blossoms place on spending spring time. I recommend to go there that got down the Nishi-Tachikawa station. NOT Tachikawa station. It takes about 10 minutes by foot from Nishi-Tachikawa station. But in case of Tachikawa one, you have to walk about 20 minutes. There is no kind of convenience stores. Not completely nothing but it’s a bit expensive. You should buy something in convenience store or there’s cheap food market before...
