瀞峡・瀞八丁 — Attraction in Totsukawa

It has been tough for me to find information on where to go in the Dorokyo Gorge area, so hopefully this is helpful - this is an absolutely beautiful scenic spot. The hotel/cafe next to it is closed from January to March (at least in 2024) but you can still walk around the cliff side and down to the rocky beach. This turn of the gorge is absolutely beautiful. In the morning there was no people around since the hotel and cafe opens at 11:30 so it was very peaceful. Parking is free and they also provide water sports rental at the hotel, but you can also bring your own gear.

熊野方面から169号行くと所々狭道で完全に離合不可のトンネルも有注意が必要です奈良和歌山三重三県境にまたがる渓谷で無料駐車場から河原の方に降りれば乗船乗場で途中降りずに真っ直ぐ進むと吊り橋があります、ギシギシと底板がたわむし揺れるのでかなり怖い吊り橋でしたw 無料駐車場、トイレ、自販機等有 ※よく分からん謎の猫が居ました全く動きませんが凄くデカイw太り過ぎだろwww 駐車場から真っ直ぐ突き当たりが展望所で瀞ホテルとバス停と自販機とトイレが有、わからない事は駐在所？の警察官が親切に教えてくださります(ココに猫が居る)そこを降ると乗船乗場途中真っ直ぐ行くと吊り橋、降ずに1番上の道を行くと民家だが観光客にテラスを解放してくれています！実際に住んでいますので迷惑にならない様に注意！吊り橋行くルートも道中に民家が有るので注意！上から観る瀞峡も河原に降りて下から観る瀞峡も何方も素敵です1度は川下りしてみたいですな(川下りはココ以外でも、各所から出ていますし船も色々有るみたいです)とても綺麗で良い処です 1...
