Me and my wife went for the skiing only. It was really out of the way, but the slopes weren't busy. MOST of the slopes were closed and it wasn't because of bad weather. It felt like they didn't have enough staff to operated the other portions of the lift. One higher lift didn't even have chairs on it. That being said, it was SUPER EXPENSIVE for four hours of skiing only 700 meters and two sides of the hill. They would not give us an hourly rate.
It was it was 7700 yen per person for the lift ticket which was three times as much than anywhere else we visited. That wasn't including any other ski rentals. Helmets were 2500 per person and goggles were 1500 per person.
Slopes were very beginner friendly. My husband was bored very fast. It was helpful for me as a beginner though.
We did go inside the hotel briefly and the staff was very kind and helpful. The hotel was pretty and the views of the lake were amazing. The hotel did look a bit outdated though and was super expensive for a room. There was literally no one except staff to be seen at the hotel. It...
