The park is large and wide, but all the trees are small so there's little shade. A lookout tower gives a view of the north end of the runway. The museum is small and has local aviation exhibits. A few grill tables can be reserved but they inspect and demand a spotless grill when you leave... a...

無料で見学できる小さな航空博物館です。 一回行ってみたくてあいち航空ミュージアムから歩いて行って見ました。歩くと小一時間掛かります。 そこまで遠くないのでは？と思って歩いたのは失敗でした。予め徒歩の距離を調べておけば良かったと後悔。 公共交通機関の弁が悪い所なので車以外だと名古屋空港行きバスに乗って空港から歩いた方が早いでしょう。 名古屋空港から約2キロ位歩く(30分程度)歩くことになります。 事前によく調べないで行ったら閉館時間の16時を過ぎていました。てっきり17時だと思っていたのでショック。 とりあえず窓から中を覗いたらMU2とヒューズのヘリコプター、ハンググライダーが見えました。 機体以外に航空機用、ヘリコプター用のエンジンがいくつか展示されています。 無料で見学できるし、隣の丘からは名古屋空港を離発着する飛行機がよく見えるので写真の撮影スポットにもなっています。
