Visited on 2024.4.7. I have visited many places for Ume and Sakura throughout Japan but this one, when the sky is blue and it's in full bloom must be the most impressive one so far! There are only 2 parking lots so you might have to wait a little bit to get in, but that also means the actual sight is not crowded even on a Sunday during full bloom. Moreover, the parking is Y500 but the entrance is free. Before going, I thought it was going to be just a big tree, but it's more than that. They have built a full course around it that is very easy to walk, with other cherry and peach trees around the main tree, a small river, beautiful turf, etc. It was the first place we visited on that day and we liked it much more than other more famous ones such as Takami no Sato. Definitely worth renting a car and driving just to...

Probably 1 or 2 more days would be absolute peak bloom, but the weather on the 5th and 6th were forecast...
