A bit far from Byodoin Temple, I walk for 30 minutes but with the view of river side and the mountain, all along with the maple tree. I like it! Easy walk cos the road is well maintained. I walk through the bridge and it will have a little shake, but i think it is strong. Aha!! Dont forget walk back also 30 minutes to Byodoin, but u can walk from the other side. So just enjoy the walk and the nature sound of the river flow. *30 min if u walk at a normal pace.

It is a hanging wooden bridge built not long ago during the early Covid period, 2020 May. Thus, you don't have to worry. However, there's still some slight swaying, just a heads up for those who are sensitive and may get sick. One can take either the route from the right or left side of the river. Do continue your journey up the hill until you reach another bridge so you can see the Amagase Dam. It's further up so keep going !

Nice walk along the Uji river to the Amagase dam. The southern side has more shops, Biodoin temple, tea places; the northern side more vegetation. You can make a circular path as there are a few small bridges to both sides. The vegetation changes along the seasons.
