Some of cherry blossoms are already blooming now. There are also a dozen of food and game stands as if those in a fair, which welcoming locals and foreign visitors. We can't imagine how magnificent there would be when all of them are blooming.

22/3/31 訪問。 橘湾を望む国道57号沿い、雲仙市千々石町にある桜の名所です。 橘神社の大きな鳥居をくぐると駐車場。そこから神社までの参道が桜並木になっています。深い谷を跨ぐ橋を渡りますが、谷下にも枝下桜などが咲いています。壮観な眺めです。 参道の隣には緩やかな傾斜の広場があり、桜で埋め尽くされています。 橘神社は、日露戦争で壮絶な戦死を遂げ軍神とされた、橘大佐を祀ります。 神社境内は広々していますが、桜の華やかさは無く、落ち着いた雰囲気でした。 桜の時期なら、立ち寄る価値のある公園でした。

Absolutely beautiful park, over 1,000 cherry trees, nearby is a small river with waterfalls and boulders. Very pretty place to spend...
