But one bad thing that kind of ruined our experience is that we arrived at 16:17, which is when we bought the tickets for the cable (roundway), when we were done we went to the cables but they said it closes at 16:30 the person that sold us the tickets did not tell us that and it would obviously be impossible to finish exploring in less than 10 minutes so yeah our back ticket was wasted for nothing and we went to talk to the person that sold us the tickets but she wasn't there, work...

You can choose between riding a cable car for ¥200 one-way plus an admission fee of ¥400 or you can take the 231-steps stairs all the way up and the admission will be free. Onto the top, you will witness the majestic views of Wakanoura bay and the peaceful town below.

I greatly enjoyed my time here, with the highlight being the giant Kannon statue. I was genuinely impressed with the scale and craftsmanship.
The rest of the grounds also provide some great views and experiences. Lighting a candle at the shrine was enjoyable.
The views from this location are not to be missed either. Kimii-dera offers a great overview of the port area...
