初めて訪れました。 ここにフラメンコを代表すると言える踊り手、イスラエル・ガルバン本人が作品つくりに来てるとのことで、その様子を伺いに行きました。 先進的な取り組みがこの地で行われ、世界に向けて発信されようとしています。AIを使い、イスラエルの踊りを様々なアプローチで学習させてもう一人のイスラエルを作り出し共演しようというのです。 イスラエルでガルバン本人とYCAMのスタッフががっぷり四つに組んで取り組む様は、限りなく未来的であり、またとても身近な感覚にも思え、来年2月の公演が待ちきれない思いで一杯になりました。 施設の開放感は空気の澱みを感じさせず、箱物にありがちな閉塞感も皆無です。 図書館、映画シアターもあり、簡単な食事も出来ます。 これほどの施設と企画力がありながら、認知度がイマイチなのが残念すぎます。市としてもっと宣伝していってほしいものです。 2月の公演、本当に世界初演、あのイスラエル・ガルバンの初演作品を誰より早く目撃できるチャンスです！！

山口の日本のまつりイベントで訪問。 屋根のカーブを見て九州国立博物館にちょっとだけ似てない?って思っちゃいました。 図書館があって、映画も館内で上映されているみたい。芸術センターというくらいだから展示とかあることもあるのかもしれませんが、他県からの訪問者にとってはいまいちつかめない施設でした。美術館でも博物館でもギャラリーでもなく情報芸術センターかぁ。。。 日本のまつりイベントを福岡から見にきたので荷物を入れるロッカーについて問い合わせましたが返事はなかったのが残念でした。でも現地で見つけられたのでまあいいや。 お手洗いの数が多いのは良かった。和式トイレと洋式半々ってのは今時じゃないけどね。細長い渡り廊下的トイレでした。 周りに食べるところがスタバしかないのは残念でした。もうちょっとレストランとかあったらいいのに。というか無くなっちゃったのかな。

Great place to visit. They have library and many space for exhibition. I visited couple weeks ago and there was temporary exhibition of media. This place is also kids friendly. They have playing area on the second floor. Plenty...
