Snow Monkey Psalm

Awhile back, we stumbled into Jigokudani. The steam rose like old secrets, and the snow monkeys sat red-faced, eyes half-shut, soaking in hot springs like little kings. They didn’t move, didn’t speak, just let the snow settle on their shoulders like they’ve been forgiven for something we haven’t yet.
