Nara Prefectural Museum of Folklore opened in Yamatokōriyama, Nara Prefecture, Japan, in 1974. Located at the foot of the Yata Hills within the 26.6 hectare Yamato Folk Park, the Museum collects, preserves, and displays artefacts relating to everyday life in Nara Prefecture from the Edo period to the Shōwa 40s.

県立と言う割に古くて小さい。古民家と公園がメインという感じです。
ビデオ学習室のVHDの説明書きが時代を感じる。 何台ものVHDとテレビを1台（？）のコンピューターで制御していたようです。 今もVHDを組み込んだラックが置いてある。中身が残っているか不明ですが、これも歴史として保存してほしいものです。 現在は個々のDVDに置き換わっている。 （ビデオ学習室は2020年の改修工事で無くなってしまった） ストリートビューで2012年当時の展示が見れます。
