Yoro falls will be a beautiful destination for hikers and nature lovers. When the water falls, it flies and you will get the feel of waterfall washing over you. We can park the car in an area and we need to walk towards the waterfall over the hill. Along the way towards the fall the stream burbles as it travels along its bed, bubbling over pebbles and rocks. Yoro falls is the best place to visit in summer. Yoro falls has been chosen as one of the Top 100 Waterfalls and one of the 100 Best Spring Water Sites in Japan. It is also famous for a legend that tells the story of a pious son who ladles some water from the waterfall to give to his ailing father, only to find that it tastes like sake! The waterfall is in Yoro Park, which boasts 3,000 cherry trees that bloom brilliantly in springtime and also has many maple trees that turn the park beautiful gradations of yellow, orange, and red. In the park is also the Site of Reversible Destiny, a conceptual art project developed by contemporary artist Shusaku Arakawa and poet Madeline Gins.

This is a picturesque little waterfall. I visited on a sunny day in February. The lower carpark was almost empty, so I was able to enjoy a semi steep treck through the woods to the waterfall without the normal tourist crowds. There are the usual souvenir shops and drinks machines, so no need for rucksacks. There is seating at the top. A nice place to enjoy a bit of nature.

A stunning waterfall in Gifu 😍 during autumn. They have two different parking lots - one is free, the other is not. We parked in the lot with a charge of ¥1000 - it was a shorter hike to the falls. You hike down some stairs but it’s not long and fairly easy to accomplish. The waterfall itself is wonderfully picturesque and beautiful - highly recommend a visit❣️

This is a gorgeous and historically significant waterfall. The path to the falls is well maintained and is a pleasant walk. There are plenty of vending machines with cold drinks in the summer. You can make it from the train station to the falls and back in two hours at a moderate pace, including breaks to take photos and drink cold drinks. Very nice!

Though not too big in size , the waterfall is surrounded by beautiful greenery and the trails leading to it are light and easily managed by almost everyone. The road to the falls is peppered with historical shrines and a temple, and bamboo walking sticks are even available on loan, in a little contained, at the beginning of the trail.

Easy access by subway followed by a short walk to Yoro park. A easy hike (except a short steep walk) from park to waterfalls. Path is well maintained. The fall is a gorgeous and historical natural waterfall. A nice place to enjoy the nature and taking photos. I visited twice this year in late spring and autumn, few cool at waterfalls.
