One of the best experiences to do on the island of Jersey! We. Booked our tickets online where there are a few different options to chose from. We would recommend the normal package, as the premium package (Which includes a spirit of your choice) was really not worth the extra money. Our tour guide met us on time and was friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable throughout the tour. You will get to visit the vineyard, see inside the winery and learn the history of the winery, from cider, to German occupation and finally the winery it is today. We got to try a white, red and rose wine, along with some Jersey dairy fudge and black butter. The tour itself lasts about an hour. Afterwards we highly recommend parking up at one of the outside benches, ordering a bottle of wine and enjoying the area. We also ordered food from their cafe, which was delicious and at great prices. We spent 2 hours enjoying the outside are after our tour. So allow for 2-3 hours when visiting to fully enjoy the winery. It is also easy to access, with buses going directly past the winery and a stop just outside. We would definitely visit again if in the area. One of our favourite activities we did when staying in Jersey. Prices all affordable for food and drink at the...

If you only visit one place on the island of Jersey make it La Mare Wine Estate. You arrive amongst fields of vines and orchards of apples. Parking is plentiful with beautiful hydrangeas all around. Our first co tact was with Steve who greated us and gave us a cider sample to start our journey. We had time to kill until the tour started and chose to walk the vineyards and orchards. After a cold drink in the cafe we met Steve who began our tour giving us some history of the estate. He then handed over to Graham who conducted the rest of the tour. You will see how they make all the alcohol products and the food products on the tour, it's incredibly interesting and finishes with a few samples to wet your appetite. The shop is well stocked with tasters so expect to part with some cash because everything is so tasty. The whole experience was fantastic and great value for money. Take time to enjoy the gardens and make sure you buy some salted caramel chocolates they are amazing. This eco friendly estate offers a lot for the money and a thoroughly great...

We had a lovely morning at La Mare Wine . The estate is tranquil and truly beautiful, with glorious hydrangeas, free-roaming chickens and perfectly kempt gardens. We started our visit with breakfast – I had a lovely bowl of granola which I enjoyed sitting by the vineyard in the sunshine, with a very friendly cockerel stopping by. The lady at the till in the restaurant wasn’t the warmest, but she was certainly helpful and accommodated my request for no banana in the granola 😊 The wine tasting was great and our tour guide (apologies, I forget her name but it may have been Carol!) was exemplary. Her passion for wine is contagious and she kept us entertained and laughing with her brilliant sense of humour. She was an absolute delight, and she dealt with some slightly barbed comments from one of the lads on our tour with grace. I’ve done many wine tastings and tours and I’m pleased to have added this one to the list – I would visit again without a doubt, and definitely recommend to anyone...

A great establishment. It’s easy to see why it’s so highly rated on TripAdvisor. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The venue itself is extremely well-kept and situated in a beautiful location. The tour was informative, our guide John was humorous & saw to the needs of the group well, including involving the kids where appropriate. The tour itself provides a good cross selection of their produce, covering cider, wine, their Baileys-like spirit drink and confectionery. With preserves available to sample in the shop. The cafe was serving a selection of fresh tasty cakes & scones when we visited in the afternoon. The full “afternoon tea” looked a little on the pricey side, but the “cream tea” was quite reasonable at £7/pp, and their draft cider tastes great and is extremely competitively priced (for a bar/cafe venue). Parking was free and easy on site. Plus, there is a bus stop opposite the entrance for those who don’t have a designated driver.

We did the premium tour, john was very knowledgeable and witty. Wine was good. The location was wonderful, a beautiful meadow field, vineyard, playground, cornhole for all ages, and great outdoor seating. Restaurant was superb with lovely food with great prices. They offer a happy hour for their bronchage cider 2.50 a pint or 1.25 1/2 pint, which is unbeatable prices. The gift shop was nice and offered some free samples. Recommendations: for the premium tour, the step up from standard and premium didn't feel much different from the standard offering would rather pay an extra bump on the premium tour to make it feel more special like a lunch with wine pairings or afternoon tea. Bar staff needs a little reminder, as we bought lucky last, which should be shaken before opening, which did not happen, so all the sediment was at the bottom, which took away from the wine itself. Other than that lovely place recommend.
