Lovely place to stay, we also had amazing weather. The Fort is across 3 levels, not sure it would have the same appeal if it was raining as you have to go outside to reach each level. Bonus dogs are allowed. Definitely not a place to stay for people with mobility issues.
Views are amazing you could never get tired of them. The cafe in the bay sells a lovely apple pie. It is a pebble beach but the dogs didn't mind.
The Fort isn't open to anyone if occupied however we had a few people pop up not realising anyone was staying there and we were more than happy to let them wander around as it's such an amazing place.
