One of the best zoo in india..The scenery was breathtaking and it was such a unique and exciting way to spend the day. It includes animals like lions, rhinos, tigers, giraffes, bison, leopards, 12 types of deer and antelopes, zebras, and other exotic animals. This zoo will take you through an adventurous and exciting trip of watching wildlife, enjoying scenic beauty of the hills and entertaining experiences of a lifetime. The park is a home to more than 186 species of fauna, covering various biomes of Africa, Australia, Asia and America. Visitors will also be able to spot India’s endangered species, which includes the magnificent big cats such as Asiatic Lion, Royal Bengal Tiger and Leopard. The safari route has been designed such, that the visitors can view animal activities, spot reptiles and watch birds. The significant feature of this park is that, the visitors can see animals in an open environment and the forest will provide the effect of a Jungle Safari kind of tour.Another highlight is the walk through Aviary, harbouring the finest of indigenous birds. Here the visitors can walk amidst of the birds specific to varied habitats, which have been created simulating the natural habitat of each of the species. The view will not be obstructed by the bars of the cages. It has two aviaries housing large number of birds.A unique experience with exotic birds like Macaw, Cockatoo, Pheasants, Black Swan, Grey Parrot, Cape Crowned Crane and more colours from South America, Australia, South East Asia and Africa and other parts of the globe. I highly recommend this jungle safari to anyone visiting the area, it's definitely worth it!

We had an incredible experience at the Jungle Safari in Ekta Nagar, Gujarat, a highlight of our trip near the Statue of Unity. Spread across 375 acres, the safari offers a unique opportunity to witness a wide range of wildlife, including Asiatic lions, Bengal tigers, leopards, and other fascinating animals housed in continent-specific clusters like Africa, Australia, and South America. We booked our tickets online in advance, which made the entry process seamless. Arriving at around 9:30 AM, we avoided any queues and enjoyed a peaceful visit. I recommend visiting early in the morning to enjoy the serene atmosphere and avoid the crowd. The safari features undulating terrain of the Vindhya Hills, enhancing the natural feel of the zoological park. One of the most remarkable experiences was the walk-through aviaries, which are among the largest geodesic domes in India. These aviaries—Indian and Exotic—house a variety of birds in habitats that replicate their natural environments. Walking amidst the birds without barriers is a truly enchanting experience. To reach the Jungle Safari from Shreshtha Bhavan parking, eco-friendly buses and shuttle services were available, making transportation convenient and hassle-free. The park is open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and tickets cost ₹200 for adults and ₹125 for children (ages 3–15). It is closed on Mondays, so plan accordingly. Overall, this safari is a must-visit for families and wildlife enthusiasts alike. It combines education, adventure, and the beauty of nature in a well-maintained environment .

I recently revisited Jungle Safari at the Statue of Unity, and this time the experience was completely transformed! My first visit back in 2021 was limited to just the bird and tiger sections near the entrance, but on this 2025 trip I made sure to explore the entire safari ride—which spans about 10-20 kms and is navigated by a comfortable golf cart. The journey begins at the boarding station, where the golf cart whisks you away to various sections featuring different animals and birds. At each stop, you disembark to explore the habitats on foot, giving you a chance to truly immerse yourself in nature. One of the highlights was the walk-through aviary—housed in one of the largest geodesic domes in India. Inside, the simulation of the birds' natural habitats is stunning, with both exotic and indigenous species flying freely above you, unhampered by bars. The unique architecture of the domes not only creates an awe-inspiring visual experience but also enhances the natural ambience of the space. The entire safari, which takes about an hour and a half, is thoughtfully organized and very engaging. I highly recommend planning your visit in the winter months. When I went, the temperature was a sweltering 40°C, and I can only imagine how much more enjoyable it would be when it's cooler and the animals are more active. Overall, my visit to Jungle Safari was both educational and exhilarating—a must-see experience for any wildlife enthusiast!

Jungle safari is different as safari people think that there is open jungle and in vehicle we will able to see them like they live in forest so jungle safari near statue of unity is different perception. Ticket is 200 rupees only per person,we have booked ticket in advance ,so we reach there and front part is very awesome beautiful at entrance only you can get ticket on weekend there is a crowd but if you don't go in weekend easily you can get ticket then after checking you will be joining a queue. Earlier I thought may be we will sit in a bus or car and we will see animals roaming around like they live in a jungle but is a type of zoo . In starting there will be a zoo type mirror in which you can see animals like tiger, lion ,leapord. Open areas are of birds and ducks where we feel like we are a part of jungle rest all animals are covered in a glass ,then a open auto type vehicle we are sitting then it is dropping at location then by seeing animals another vehicle are there Notes Photo graphy is allowed For camera they are charging extra money Water facility is available Zoo type feeling Approx in 1 hrs it can be completed. Outside food facility is available. Go with cash there as some stalls only except cash not gpay Outside view is very awesome at gate Full natural theme they have maintained. Photos and videos of animals is attached.

Great place for kids. But the attitude of staff especially the ones driving the electric cabs inside the zoo is very bad. They are lazy and not interested in doing their jobs. First of all they want to cramp as many people as possible in one cab to minimise the no of trips with disregard to all Covid protocol. When we protested, the driver told that if you are worried for COVID then you should stay at home. Secondly they are not interested in covering all the animal enclosures. They will give lame excuse that some parts of the ZOO are closed especially the crocodile section. If you need to go then you have to walk for long distance. Even the lady at ticket counter supports them. Third if you personally know the cab driver or make him happy, then only he will give you a personal tour of all the areas. I saw one cab driver taking one family on the route to the crocodile section even when as per the ticket counter it was officially closed. When I inquired he told that it is a private tour. Also there is no complain book or any personnel to register a complain. I hope management walks up and takes action to make this wonderful place convenient and interesting for the tourists, otherwise all the money spent by the government will go to waste.
