With an entrance fee of 50 per person, this has been our go-to stopover upon our trips to the further northern Philippines. There are a variety of activities to do from swan boat paddling to riding a motorboat (which come with their respective fees). The area itself is huge and is home to a restaurant, an event area, the iconic climbable lighthouse, picnic areas, among others with friendly and welcoming staff. I would like to add that the view of mount Arayat is stunning especially when viewed on top of the lighthouse. While I haven't done a night visit, it's also said that this place is cheerful and bright in the evening especially during Christmas season.

You need to have your own vehicle to visit the place because you will have a problem commuting. The guard on the main entrance is friendly and will ask how many are in the vehicles maybe for records purposes. The place is big and better to come late in the afternoon because most of the establishments will open on that time. The price of commodity is a little bit expensive but you can get budget food inside the food courts. You can bring also your own food and have picnic inside. At night there is a film showing at the big open space near the entrance. Bring plenty of water or you can buy it on the store inside. There is a 50 pesos entrance fee per person.

Beautiful park in that it is peaceful and there is green grass everywhere. The man-made lake is nice to look at, but you can't walk all the way around it because the backside is a private subdivision. Walking down to the end of the lake (away from the lighthouse) is nice, but only one of the fountains along the way was working (the others were growing grass or were being used as burning pits). The NLEX is nearby the park, so you can hear the faint whooshing of cars driving past, but it is not enough to upset the peaceful ambiance of the park, especially the main areas near the lighthouse. If you are planning to picnic here, there is a P300 fee.

Its like a Park with big open space for strolling and a water pond for fishing and boating. Still, most areas were being developed and havent reached its full potential. Several trees lined up near water ponds provides ample shades and cool winds, good for walking and some fishing. Tried fishing, but our line was snapped by a crossing boat. I guess, boating and shore fishing cant mix. Also areas around the pond is also starting to get dirty with litters and needs to clean up. Nonetheless the place is big and breezy and always inviting for a good walk, or a romantic date for couples or some photoshoot.

We got here on a Saturday, lunch time. It is a huge place, good for pictorials and events. However, we could be in a wrong time, as there is only one restaurant opened, and we arrived in the peak of the noon so it is very hot and humid. There is no pay parking, and no proper place or markers to park your vehicles. We just parked across the entrance, on the dirt and grass part of the curb. The entance of the lakeshore is just across it, and the guard will ask for a fee of PhP 50 per person.

It is easy to grow fond of this place especially during Christmas season. With an entrance fee of P50, you and your friends and families will enjoy an open air attraction - - lights, picnic areas, structures, toilets, buskers, pond, food stalls, Christmas parade, live bands and more. It gets crowded on weekends. I recommend arriving around 4pm to be able to conveniently find a parking spot and have time to roam before enjoying the sunset. Accessible by private vehicles.
