You need to have your own vehicle to visit the place because you will have a problem commuting. The guard on the main entrance is friendly and will ask how many are in the vehicles maybe for records purposes. The place is big and better to come late in the afternoon because most of the establishments will open on that time. Beautiful park in that it is peaceful and there is green grass everywhere. The man-made lake is nice to look at, but you can't walk all the way around it because the backside is a private subdivision. Walking down to the end of the lake (away from the lighthouse) is nice, but only one of the fountains along the way was working (the others were growing grass or were being used as burning pits).
