Read moreWe came to Kongoni lodge as a couples safari trip. Kongoni lodge is located next to Lake Olodien, which is a smaller lake next to Lake Naivasha.
We have had the best time and experience ever. The service that this lodge offers is gold standard and I cannot recommend them enough. We are both vegetarian and the chef came up with a new menu everyday to suit our requirements with HUGE portions sizes.
Everyone was incredibly attentive and the hotel grounds were kept to a very high standard (clean rooms, pool, well maintained plants) - the staff work incredibly hard to maintain the grounds and this pays off as the area looks immaculate.

He was our driver to Nakuru & hells gate and had very knowledgeable tour guides - Steve in Hells Gate & John in Nakuru. He was always on time and very accommodating. Bilha also recommended Aden who is a local guide who gave us a bird watching tour of the area and he was the most knowledgeable man and just spending a couple of hours with him I felt like Iearnt lots! If you come here definitely ask for these people as you will have an incredible time.
This place superseded any expectation I had of Kenya and I do sincerely hope you read this review and decide to book with...
