Being close to the lake provided amazing opportunities for boat rides and bird watching. I was thrilled to see wild animals, including graceful giraffes grazing nearby. This experience brought me closer to the incredible wildlife of the region.

When i checked in i was given a room were sewer smell was horrible, i requested for that to change. Why this was not checked when I checked in when they are so strict. Now for this issue who is going to bear, sorry will not apply on this, as somebody has to pay for my inconvenience. For this nobody had the answer. You take full boarding. Where you pay for your water and drinks during lunch or dinner. You order coffee or tea the color of these beverages will let you feel to throw out after paying hotel for full boarding. Variety of food is very very limited, you dont have option to choose which is good. Such a shame.. This is totally a fraud group staff of hotel, where they harasses tourist so they don't check there luggage and take big amount of money and staff keep in...

Sawela is a beautiful lodge with very good customer service. The pool attendant Eric was friendly and kind enough to take care of the children while we enjoyed our drinks by the pool side.
