Chania Falls — Attraction in Thika Township ward

Located in Nyeri County and 97kms from the City of Nairobi Chania Falls is one of the National Parks in Kenya that has a variety of Wild Animals for you're viewing and liking from the Bushbuck, Waterbuck, Dikdik, The Giant Warthogs, Cheetah's, Hyenas, Buffalos and the huge African Jumbo Elephants. Amazing place to hike. Altitude not too high but be wary of altitude sickness peaceful and serene, you don't even notice that there are elephants. You will Love visitng Chania Falls, Its a small hike but down a steep set of make shift stairs that can be sliperay when wet hence one should exercise extreme caution but I highly recommend this location for the nature lover's and hikers, carry comfortable hiking wear and also at times it may get extremely cold so park so warm clothes. Chania is the best natural environment within Nairobi vacinity, the falls,Chania & Thika rivers,it must be elevated to it's status 5 star plus. There were natural trees cut facing Chania falls. There needs to be natiralpaths to falls, the place needs to be recreated with natural trees, please replace bananas with natural trees, I can freely help. This is one of the best place in Thika and in Kenya that I can advise anyone to visit! The reason is unlike in many places in Kenya where you wi be met with people at the gate trying to take advantage of you, when you enter you will be free from these kind of people and people are well behaved. It is a great place to take your loved ones and have a conversation. There is a restaurant few meters that is inside Blue Post Hotel.
