A key component of the Al Kout – Fahaheel Waterfront Project was the design and construction supervision of 1km of the adjacent beach front. The beach front promenade extends from Al Kout Mall and passes in front of the marina and public beach. Avenue planting of Date Palms defines the promenade edge and provides dappled shade on the pathway. The promenade is accented with cafes, seating pavilions and grassed picnic areas to provide respite and passive recreational opportunities, whilst the linear quality of the promenade encourages active recreation for walkers, joggers and cyclists alike. Read moreThis beach is one of the least appreciated beaches in Kuwait. It's simply because people visited this beach at the wrong times (most probably). The shoreline is long enough for a good walk, regardless of whether it's morning or evening. Visiting this beach at evening during the weekends (especially Fridays) won't give you that serene and chill vibe, because it's very crowded as people living nearby come here to spend quality time with their families.
Nevertheless, walking along the beach early in the morning is actually very nice, you get a nice view of the sunrise if you sacrifice your sleep and more importantly, it's less crowded. If possible, visit during weekdays as it would be much more pleasant. The cool breeze during summer mornings will indeed work their magic on you. Read moreOff season (October): this is a superb beach. Clean and largely empty. In fact we had this while beach to ourselves for 99% of the time. In winter it’s about 28-30 degrees and it’s lovely.
The beach itself is very basic. No deck chair hire etc, not even an my bins. It’s quite clean for a lack of bins. So bring everything you need to enjoy your time here as there’s nothing to get from here except drinks from a cart at the kerbside.
This beach has lots of parking too. It’s a one block walk from the nearest hotel (Al Kout) and a block walk to the nearest mall (Al kout mall). There are juice and food places across the road from the beach.
