A nice public park with an oval walking track and a lot of benches and trees. There are some Olympics-themed statues monuments placed around from the early 1960s, which is strange as Laos never even participated in the Olympics at that time, but they're cool to see. The memorial area for President Nouhak Phoumsavanh is much newer than the park itself and is exactly what you'd expect to see in a Communist country, a massive, deserted concrete area with steps leading up to a statue of him.
