I have been to trail in the trees two or three times with different people each time. To be honest this trail is boring even during the first time. It is meant for children and not for youngsters or grownups. Trail in the trees is too easy, obstacles are not challenging. There is really nothing to see when going through the trail, only thing to enjoy is zip line over river Gauja, and you will enjoy it only the first two or three times after that it becomes as boring as the rest of the trail. But the BIGGEST DOWNSIDE is that this trail is super expensive when compared to other trails in Cēsis or Sigulda. But it has its pluses as well, for example, obstacles are fashionably designed.
There are other sites to enjoy for free, for example, beach volleyball fields and beach (this is a nice place), barefoot trail (at least I think this is for free, it should be free), and some stylish attractions for children hidden...

A comment for first time guests with kids - trail in the trees has no 'back up' option in case kid gets too anxious to proceed. After starting the trail, the only place to leave it, is after crossing majority...

The whole track with waiting took us 45 minutes and it is one uninterrupted track (about 30 segments).
