I will not talk about the issue that the beach is for the public and can’t be monopolized by anyone .. this topic is already outdated by now, or either the issue about the crazy expansive entrance prices (30$ just for entrance), I will only talk about this unreasonable regulations they have about swimming with a t-shirt on.. I have never encountered such a rule anywhere in the world even in those paid beaches. Florida beach takes it too seriously yet, the life guard approaches you in some way trying to contain your reaction for this stupid rule that he himself doesn’t know why is superiors even make it. I told him that I simply don’t like to put any kind of cosmetics on my body .. that’s why I prefer to swim with a t-shirt. Of course I didn’t argue with this employee, I didn’t want to make a scene out of it .. but I wasn’t happy at all, especially that they don’t have any sign placed clearly at their entrance and nobody tells you about this rule before. The music literally sucks.. hey charge you 30$ but they still don’t hire a DJ to play and mix the tracks in a proper way.. I feel like there we some child in front of that computer trying to learn the art of djing, so for a whole period of 2 hours you hear a part of a song which pauses for like 3 seconds and another song comes up .. so annoying.
Shower: all water taps are broken, doors don’t close… a deep maintenance is needed. As a client paying 30$, I thing my minimum right is to have a proper shower without having my hung towel sprinkled with water leaking out of that broken shower pipe.
They have a slide … but inaccessible
On the other hand .. the food is good, they didn’t charge me for my 3yo child, the...
Read moreIf we could rate this place a zero we would! The staff were semi helpful. For $175 a night we were told to bring our own beach towels.. thankfully when we forgot this they provided them but with a reminder we were supposed to have our own. The ac barely works and when brought this complaint was offered other rooms but told that the air is the same in every room (not cold) and we are odd because no one else ever complained of this. We only occupied the room for 5 hours by the time we decided to cancel and find another lodging. We never even pulled back the covers on the bed or even took a shower, we only tried to put our baby to sleep but it was so hot he just cried.. when we cancelled the hotel kept all $175 dollars for that night and told us this was the fee for using the room for 5 hours and going to the beach and when we asked for a negotiation we were told this is normal. They treated us like we were trying to scam them when all we wanted was to sleep in a room with a cool temperature. The owner told us to come back the next day to talk to her but when we drove back (30 minutes) she would not see us or talk to us directly. This is the worst service I have ever received from a...
Read moreThe pools and ocean at this resort is absolutely breathtaking . The infrastructure is good. If that's all I am basing it on it would be a 5/5 but unfortunately I'm giving it a 2 out of 5 because the customer service was horrible. We would ask questions or request something and the staff (hosts , front desk, housekeeping, restaurant workers) would answer us in the most coldest and rudest ways. They were all mean and arrogant. We stay at a lot of hotels but this has to be the worst experience we have ever had with the staff. They don't even crack smiles. It's like they want to throw up in your face. Kindness should be their basic approach. Another thing that was absolutely horrible was a manger started to yell at an employ infront of everyone. Very unprofessional. Workers have rights. If they made a mistake you should talk to them in private and not infront of the guests. Especially when you yell and be so mean! Disgusting. They don't respect the guests. We are paying to be treated with kindness and respect. We aren't staying for free. Horrible just horrible. I'm at loss of words. I can't explain the lowness with words. The staff need major education when it comes to basic...
