Bamboo Bay — Attraction in Jieh

Worst experience ever. Was there last week with 2 of my friends, rented a chalet for one night. we have settled down and went to the pool, only to come back and find out that $100 was missing from my wallet. I wasn't expecting it back, but i thought it would be best to inform the manager in order to make sure this won't happen again. the big surprise was where he accused my friends and started shouting at me as if I am the one who did wrong.

& don't get me started when it comes to hygiene. the couches were so oily, the pillows had black stains, the bathroom was so dirty. No tissues, No towels, no soap, not to mention that the AC wasn't working...

Nice resort suitable for couples, singles or families. Entrance price is acceptable and the beach is accessible from it. What i didn't like is that it is too commercially oriented. They don't offer towels unless you pay for them, locations around the pool are only accessible if you pay for them by renting the location, same goes for the beach...

An OK beach, that could be better if it weren't next to industrial smoke stacks. The beach's sand, and facility overall, are clean and well-kept. Who knows about the sea water quality, however. We decided not to take a dip, because of that. The food was pretty expensive, but that's expected for Lebanon's...
