finding engaging and safe places to spend the day is crucial, and the this place is an absolute gem. This expansive garden offers a perfect mix of relaxation and entertainment for both kids and adults. From the moment we entered, we were fascinated by the variety of plants and flowers. The garden is filled with over 7,000 plant species, providing endless opportunities for exploration and discovery. The colorful blooms and diverse plant life kept us engaged and curious throughout our visit. The garden is well-equipped with wide, stroller-friendly paths, making it easy to navigate with a young child. Informative signs and labels also provided fun learning moments for both of us, turning our visit into an educational adventure. There are plenty of open spaces where kids can run around and play safely, and the peaceful environment is a welcome break from the usual hustle and bustle. We also enjoyed the garden's many lawns, surrounded by nature's beauty. VDU Botanical Garden often hosts family-friendly events and workshops, which are a great way to entertain and educate young minds. Our day there was filled with learning, and lots of fresh air, making it a top recommendation for parents looking to entertain their toddlers in a beautiful and safe setting.

* ** *** ************* Very nice, big and specific place. Maintained area, many types of plants. Even on trees and shrubs you can find information boards with information about a specific plant. There are places to rest - sitting benches, during the warm season - prefabricated gazebos. You can also see animals in the botanical garden. It can be seen that, for example, some birds are not afraid of people at all, because apparently that area is already their home. The Botanical Garden also has its own glass conservatory, where you can see plants that are not typical for the Lithuanian climate. It is really worth coming, walking, admiring.

Nice day out but for the fact the tickets cost money and they will not allow student discount if your studying in UK and have TOTUM which is an international student card, the place could be better maintained, a lot of fallen leaves everywhere which should be swept, and the plants just normal plants, not so much exotic.

Kiek pertvarkymų-super! Galima tik džiaugtis ir padėkoti darbuotojams!

Great place as we visited as students. Highly recommend - if there is an option, to have a guide, who could tell you about plants, stories, history, etc. Locals knows it as great place for photo shooting. There is a small cafe inside that works in warm season. 5 EUR for ticket - definately worth to pay

A very beautiful place in clover blooming season. You cam see various species of trees, bushes and flovers. Highly recommended for a nice stroll. It costs 1 euro for a student and about 3 euro for adults. There is also a orangery with various tropical and desert plants.
