But be aware of kangaroo poop, it's literally everywhere. The park also has the rare Australian monotreme, the platypus. They're very cute, so remember to turn off your flash when taking pictures. This year (2024), they canceled the photo sessions with koalas, but it's still great to see them up close without any glass or filters. Follow ig : cozy.toasty for more fun.

Very good experience. Kids loved watching animals and feeding kangaroos. It was our first experience of watching and feeding kangaroos. Koala were so cute.

Expensive, difficult to find your way around. the map gives poor directions. Felt like I was walking around in circles. Needs arrows on footpath so you donโ€™t miss anything. Not much to look at. A lot of empty enclosures...

Nice small and quiet park with views over the river to the arboretum on the other side. Benches too for picnicing. Visited before the Koala Sanctuary opened and spotted a kookaburra, lorikeets and a flock...

We loved going to Lone Pine, and had a annual membership. In one year this price has gone from $80 tot $200 for a family of 4! Such a shame and it means we will not be...
