This place is suitable for jogging, hanging out, outdoor photoshoots, small-scale running events, or even setting up promotional booths (e.g. for upcoming community events). In short, it’s a nice recreational park for everyone to enjoy.
One section of the park is located near the Sarawak River. Hopefully, the management can consider improving the divider, during m our visit, only a light duty fence separated the jogging path from the river. We also saw several warning signs about crocodiles in the area. This section could be dangerous for children unless accompanied by a guardian..
There’s a lift available that goes up to the 8th floor, and stairs are also accessible for those who prefer to walk.
I also met a cute black and white cat.
A mini convenience store located on the ground floor of the tower. As for food and drinks, it’s easy to find options nearby- though mostly non-halal.
Female toilet: 2 unit had broken door locks. You’ll need someone to hold the door from outside if you're using it.
Others Facilities spotted during visit:
Electric car and scooters (rental required) Mini ping pong table Skateboard area Plenty of seating area. Convenience store-limited...
Read moreNice newly opened riverbank park. The sightseeing tower has a lift on each side, but will only be opened begin 2022. The park is relatively small, but has a diversity of flowers and different walkways and places to sit. There is even a sculpture depicting the attires of the 7 fairies! The park connects with the Chinese waterfront temple of Batu Kawa. There is at the tower parkingspace for cars. See that at the other side of the bridge is another construction going on which looks like an extension of the park. Hopefully they will manage to join both. It's a nice place to relax and over time when the greens grow, it will become even better. For the moment it is superclean, with the help of all visitors it will stay that way. Think that the park is accessible for wheelchair users. Not quite sure about the...
Read moreA new landmark park in Kuching with the iconic Sky Bridge that is worth a visit. It is free with ample parking spaces. The garden and plants in the Park are well maintained and the place is relatively clean with public toilets. Surprised me that the Park can lead to Batu Kawa Temple which make it a good place to visit during nighttime for its photographic sceneries. One suggestion is that to open the Sky Bridge at 6:00am instead of 8:00am because the vantage view of sunrise on the Sky Bridge will be brilliant.
While here, there are 2 more locations that you can visit. Namely, a small chinese temple by the side of the shophouses in front of the Park. Secondly, Kampung Sinar Budi Lama to get the perfect panoramic shot of...
