I am sure their tour is great but we were never able to experience it as they cancelled us the night before. In the days before the event, they were not responsive to my question taking too long to awnser their messages. Then the day before the activity, they woke up and messaged me at 2pm. I awnsered back at 7pm as we were out exploring all day as tourists do (no wifi) and asked if I could reduce the reservation by one guess as my wife was not feeling good (we are a familly of 7). At 8h52 pm, they said No and offered to rebook us another day. At 09h01 PM they cancelled the activity for the ENTIRE group leaving us with no time to plan anything else, and mostly loosing a day. I had no chance to even reply to their messages Very frustrating for our familly. We came from far away and were looking forward to the activity. For me that was not professional of them. I am sure we would have loved the experience but their customer service was not acceptable unfortunatly.
Pictures below. Look at the time of their replies.
To their credit, at least they did refund...
Read moreThe guide picks you up at around 7 in the early morning and it ends around twelve noon. If you are a nature lover, you might want to try this tour out. The tour includes cycling on the country side road, visiting a Malay fishing port, a Chinese fishermen village, a goat milk farm, a fruit garden and an organic farm as well as some bird watching and fruit trees identification along the way. If you have a little chat with the guide, you will have a better understanding of the house structure, the life of the locals and some knowledge about birds and fruits. If you happen to speak Mandarin or Hokkien, it will be a great chance to find out the different accents and wordings between the Chinese we use and that of Malay Chinese, which is a great fun to me. All in all, I like the tour very much. It offers a first hand experience in the life of the locals. Highly recommended. (PS. If you are the only guest on that day, they might charge you additional 50%. You can ask for more details with them on that issue directly.) Enjoy the half day countryside...
Read moreWonderful Countryside Experience in Penang!
I had an amazing time on the Penang Countryside Cycling Tour. Our guide did an excellent job explaining everything along the way and made sure our group was safe and comfortable throughout the ride.
The tour took us through some truly scenic and peaceful areas. We saw a variety of fruit trees, including the famous durian, and even visited a goat farm. One of the highlights was spotting a troupe of wild monkeys! We also passed by fishing farms and charming fishing villages that gave us a glimpse into the local way of life.
The cycling route was well thought-out, mostly along safe and quiet pathways through beautiful rural landscapes. It was a great mix of activity, culture, and nature. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to see a different, more tranquil...
