Restaurant: The food was awesome..some of the dishes was served better than 5 stars hotel. They care about the environment and everything was served with reusable material. The staff were kind. Room: They built a host infont of your chalet for you to wash your feet off the sand. Hemp rope around your chalet to hangyour cloths, in some you can find clothes clip, advisable to bring extra. Hanger is also provided. Broom in every chalet for you to swipe the sand out from your room. Toilet was equipped with water heater and bidet spray. Two power sockets, 1 in room 1 in toilet. Beach: Nice beach facing the west, water was crystal clear. Lots dead bleached coral can be found on the beach (partly due to global warming ) Please use miniral sunscreen with non-nano particles (reef-friendly) to prevent the coral to absorb harmful chemicals & nano particles ultimately leads to death. Leisure: Kayak, life jacket, snorkle equipment(no power lense)... available for rental. They even have a whole book shelf for you to rent book (Rental fee: RM5) Connectivity: Wifi available at the restaurant. If you need to the internet in your room, get a celcom sim card, they have full bar 4g+ here.

Perfect spot to relax at a white sand beach, palmtrees above your head and a crystal blue sea. The price/quality on the chalets is great! I would give this a 5 star rating! Some chalets are newly renovated, all with AC. They are not as clean as you think when entering the room (found some daipers and insuline needles under the bed) but you get what you pay for I guess. You have everything you need in the chalet for comfort and the beach is just a 10 meter walk away. They also have great pancakes (chocolat/banana,...) and chicken saté. Although the saté was raw 2 times out of 3 and I had to return them to the cook. Wifi is poor and bad, but who needs wifi when you're on an island like this (except when you want to make everyone on instagram jealous or need to check in for your flight...). The staff seemed a bit bored, not enjoying there work. I would even dare to say lazy.. But when you asked them something they always tried to help you out. They gave me there phone when I had troubles with another hotel booking etc.

Location: Perhentian is a beautiful place, and where better to have a chalet right in front of a marine park?! That aside, Abdul's is a 7 minute walk away from Teluk Keke (a fantastic snorkelling point), and located near quality food joints such as Tuna Bay, Beach Box, and Suhaila's, all of which are within 5 minutes. On top of that, the chalets face west, giving occupants a fantastic sunset view and a sky full of stars at night. Food: The food at Abdul's is a favorite among locals, having great value for money. Personally recommend the nasi goreng or nasi goreng kampung at there. Service: Excellent. Staff are friendly, and do deliver food to your doorstep. Snorkelling trip and boat services are alright. Amenities: Overall not bad. Beds, rooms, and bathrooms are comfy and clean. Sadly the only sticking points are that Wifi is only available near the canteen area, most rooms only have one power point, but these aren't an issue then it's a great stay!

Abdul's Chalets is a wonderful property located on Pulau Perhentian Besar. We booked the 3 nights 4 days package with one additional night and found this the right amount of time to enjoy the island. The booking was done through the property's website and email address, and the price was one of the lowest we could find for such a package. The staff orgnized two snorkeling tips for us, one around the island (Turtle Beach, Shark Point, Fish Point and Turtle Bay), and one to Rawa Island. Both were excellent. The food was great too, with a wide variety of fruits, juices, fish, and meat. You are able to find both local and Western food in the menu. The staff were very kind, they advised us on the schedule to the Kota Bharu airport and provided us with the return boat transfer tickets from/to the mainland as part of the package. The wifi worked very well in the reception area. We stayed in the Garden View Chalet, which had air conditioning, a private bathroom, a mini fridge, a fan and a very comfortable bed. We appreciated the ornate interior and spend quite a few hours at the terrace every day. If you are a hiker and want to experience the jungle, you could do a loop around the island through the jungle, visiting Teluk Kekek, Flora Bay Beach and Perhentian Island Resort Beach. On your way, you may encounter leaf monkeys, gekkos, and larger monitor lizzards. Good snorkelling is possible at a nearby beach of Teluk Kekek. Finally, Abdul's Chalets has a jetty just steps away from the reception. We were very happy staying at Abdul's and...

The stay in ACh was indeed amazing. The locationas well as the chalets themselves create a wonderfully tropical ambiance and feel. When it comes to the quality of accommodation and the surroundings I missed absolutely nothing and I think the place really deserves 5 or even 6 stars but still, let me break it down into two parts anyway.

Pros

So as mentioned above - excellent location + accommodation

The chalets are equipped tastefully and are super clean

The bed is ultra comfy and I had wonderful sleep in them - I seriously felt rejuvenated after each night - falling asleep and waking up with the sound of waves that's something I can't get never enough of

Turquoise waters right in front of the chalets (sea view option)

Calmness and serenity

No annoying mosquitoes or other insects except for a few flies here and there

Fantastic weather

Good breakfast with plenty of coffee

Cons

A reading lamp wouldn't go amiss but okay,  this can hardly make me complain much

Wi-Fi only available for a couple of hours - breakfast and dinner time

The fact that they say coconut has finished while they are surrounded by coconut palms is beyond me,but okay,  you can get it elsewhere

Overall,  I would like to definitely come back. I love this place and will seriously miss it.  I actually didn't feel like leaving at all.  Terima Kasih.

All the best and keep up the good work.

Ps: Get some strong, handsome pal from your team to collect a few coconuts. It really belongs to...
