You will be surprised that there is actually a natural wildlife sanctuary in Langkawi Island. It's called Darulamam Sanctuary and located about 20 minutes from Kuah or Pantai Chenang area. I came here bird watching and the person to contact is no other than Mr.Fendi, who is the resident naturalists. Today's trip let me spot over 15 birds here plus countless butterflies and dragonflies. The day trek here takes 2 hours only and is very interesting provided you love nature. Highly recommended for nature lovers and this place is less than 3 years old.
