This place is badly in need of a major overhaul and renovation. Everything looked like it was made in the 80s and nothing was being done after. There are groups of live performances inside which I felt sorry for as they had only a small trickle of audiences given the sorry state of this place. There’s an entrance fee of RM12 (for Malaysian Adults). The museum is named after Mahsuri herself yet the items displayed in there seems like a hodge podge of everything including the cosmos which got me quite confused as to what exactly this museum is supposed to be all about. However, information can be more in depth, elaborated & interesting. Performances on Gamelan Music and traditional Malay folk songs singing are presented, there's also a brief performance on Wayang Kulit. Merchandise on Langkawi souvenirs, T-shirts & packed snacks are located at the entrance & exit, making the mausoleum more of a market.
