Jerai Strawberry Farm — Attraction in Kedah

It’s a small strawberry farm and could do better by adding more related strawberry flavors and stories. Free entrance. They sell strawberries and other berries and ice creams at the entrance. There’s a place for people to sit while having ice cream. What’s missing is having strawberry recipes to bake or prepare anything with strawberries. Maybe berry smoothies, juices, or yogurts, too. I hardly saw big strawberries except for those tiny ones. Perhaps they’re off-season. I found beautiful Malaysian flowers, hibiscus, with different colors. They’re beautiful! They also placed some cactus corners in case anyone is interested in purchasing them. My sister, nephew and I enjoyed our ice creams while relaxing in this cooler weather before returning to face a hot day. The ice creams were iced-style ice cream, not the fattening one, so make sure to have a few different flavors. Those are well prepared. It is a pleasant experience, and it’s even nicer to visit...

There was a queue when we got here at noon. Bought strawberry ice creams, strawberry chocolate smoothie (ready-made) and strawberry milkshake (made to order). As we waited for the milkshake, we sat and enjoyed the view although we had to wait 5 minutes to get a table as the place was packed.

Unfortunately it took the staff almost half an hour to make the milkshake as my wife had to wait at the counter to pick up the drink. That's the only negative thing I can say about this place. If we had known that it will take that long, we would've taken a ready-made drink inside the chiller.

Apart from that, the view from the dining deck was breathtaking, the ice cream was delicious. The chocolate smoothie was refreshing and the view made it...

Best experience at Jerai Hill Resort. We arrived in the early afternoon and visited the strawberry farm while waiting for our hotel room to be ready.

The scones and waffle were hot when served but became cold quickly as the table area was open air, especially since today was a cool day. If you also went on a cool day, I would suggest ordering cold items instead. I really liked the strawberry milkshake and it was delicious.

There were also many strawberry items on sale so definitely will.be able to find something. It's worth repeat visits while at the resort. But the best part of my experience was having the opportunity to spot a dusty leaf monkey just below the strawberry farm sitting area...
