Puncak Kedah Restaurant — Restaurant in Kedah

Stayed 3days days 2 nights with family members at this resort. Through our entire duration of our stay, We had our meals at this restaurant . My observations are as follows: The service staff were not attentive, seems avoiding eye contact when they knew resort guest were coming for meals . Probably that's the way they can avoid extra work load . Food served were bread , kwayteow soup, sausage, bake beans , nasi lemak , chicken rendang . It was totally disappointing with the food standard that served. As a malaysian , I was totally ashamed with the malaysian food they served. Sambal and rendang were horrible . Road side seller took more pride than them in terms of preparing their food . Food hygiene were not adhered too or probably it's their norm .

Staff is very friendly. Food took very long time to get prepared, waited for an hour. At the time there was only 2 other tables. Dont know if we came at the wrong night or something as we came at Friday night because the food is also not good, ayam penyet sambal is sweet and not spicy, tastes like something out of the can. The soup tastes like pure chicken stock. At the bottom of the soup still have undissolved chicken stock. Aglio olio tastes exactly like MSG only. No garlic taste or anything.

Tried its sup tulang served with loaf, chinese fried rice and oglio spaghetti. Taste good. But the fresh brewed coffee is worth a highlight.
