Lata Bayu — Attraction in Kedah

It's beautiful with waterfall and the surrounding nature in the forest. Water is calm and there are a few pools for swimming. However the place need to be kept clean with more dustbin. Making sure the visitors don't throw plastics or straw into the river. Open burning especially plastic is spoiling the environment. Why need to burned? Please bring a bag and disposed when you're on your way out in proper designated dustbin/rubbish bin provided in the area. Family gathering there is good but need to take good care of the surrounding by not littering. There are plastics thrown into the water which is a sad sight. Parking is limited and best to park a little further and walk in to ease...

🐣 Entry is free, but many facilities are poorly maintained, such as the inadequate dressing room that made me hesitant to change clothes there. However, there's a bathroom available with a one-time entry fee of RM1. It's advisable to arrive in your bathing attire.

🐣 The river water is remarkably clean and clear, teeming with small fish.

🐣 We opted to climb stairs and walk to the top to bathe under dense bamboo trees; the water is invigoratingly fresh and wakes you up, haha.

No doubt, this place is awesome. A bit isolated, parking totally hard to find especially on school holiday. Honestly i find this place is one of the top location most of Baling people will go to relax2, have fun and spend time with the beloved one. Last time i go there, wht i displease is that people seem love to throw their garbage around. They eat junk food and throw in water. Gosh people, seriously? Toilet are okay and clean. One more thing wht hate the most is that Mat Motor really love to make noise. The motor sound really annoy and happen to disturb people who seek for calm and peace environment. I bet u guys...
