MSM Ceria Chalet Air Terjun Lata Bayu Baling — Hotel in Kedah

My stay at that chalet was a bit of a letdown considering what I paid (rm175+) The room and service just didn't measure up to what I expect.

The bed sheets and room colours felt a bit cheap, to be honest. They give a lunyai kids blanket with cartoon design like some kindergarten school, a more neutral white sheet with better bedding would've made a big difference.

Dealing with noise was a headache 😕 creaky bed, loud floorboards, and zero soundproofing. I practically knew everything about my neighbors and even their snores sound. Not exactly a peaceful stay.

Can you believe it? The room lock was broken! That's a major safety issue. No heads up or alternatives, just a busted lock. They owe me a refund or a hefty discount. Instead they just smile and say nothing will happened.

The high toilet was kind of a hassle. Not the best setup for people with mobility issues. They really need to make it more accessible for everyone.

Despite a decent view, the whole stay was a downer. They seriously need to reevaluate their prices and up their game for the next guests.

I'd think twice before booking...

The place is nice n its a walking distance from lata bayu waterfall... The chalets provided were clean n spacious... Water in the toilet is cold n nice taken from the hill... The only setback was: this place provides only 2 set of blanket n towel eventhough u have 3 people staying in the chalet for 3...and the one managing the place told us even if u r staying in a room for 6 people, only 2 sets of blanket n towel will be provided... Kinda stingy dont you think?... Hence...

We have wonderful experience here.. The chalet owner are super helpful and the breakfast meal is great for our local tastebud.. The chalet location next to Lata bayu is a big plus point.. Definitely will come...
