Good place to go for history learning.
They say the well doesnt dry up despite years of it being there. Well, after many yesrs, visits and crowds, d water does seem to not dry up.. this is also a personal opinion by me since i went there wen i was alread at age 7.
The place has changed abit but relatively to accomodate traffic flow. Years back, d place is quite crowded and small due to d small roads and limited moving spaces.
Enough bout d location but more on this place itself. It is known by hearsay that this is place where Hang Tuah was born n raised. A legendary figure, as notified by some, jz a folk lore. But to some extend, i believe that he was actually a real human who had undergone special training and protected Melaka with all his might during the Sultan's regime.
You can get urslf wet and also grab a bottle of water home.. but to on truth be told, lets not get too carried away on its legend. And moving on, u cn actually see a musuem dedicated to him and his friends.....

The locals believe that the well’s water contains special healing properties, able to cure all sorts of ailments. It was also said that the well used to be much smaller in size originally, and that it had grown over time.
The well was declared as a historical monument under the Antiquities Act on 29...
