Warong Sotong Celop — Restaurant in Malacca

Upon arriving the restaurant, the pungent smell longkang is unwelcoming I will say, but for good food, we proceeded to venture into the restaurant. Ordered a set (4 plain rice, 1 siakap bakar, 1asam pedas telur ikan mayong, 1 kerang rebus, 2 flower crabs, some udang, sotong, ikan kembung goreng celup tepung). My verdict. None is good. Siapkap tasteless, sambal only slight taste of spicy and a bit sweet. Asam pedas only taste spicy, can't taste asam pedas. Flower crab is so dry and tasteless, I don't even made the effort to eat it. Kerang is overcooked till it is a little hard, and I do not know if the kerang is cleaned... So many of the kerang had mud in...

At first i saw this warong, i want to support because no people there. But then, once we sit on our seats, late to take order even no people ordering or waiting for food. Got 3-4 staff there playing handphone. Food preparation time also fair enough, as no one there. Service i can give only one star. No wonder no one there. Been there for 7 adults meal. Food 1.Suggested SET SEKATI adore the celup tepung prawns and fish, as well as siakap bakar. Although this set is meant for six people, three of us were able to finish it because the food is so good.

Ambience It's an open-air concept, so please arrive early. There is hardly much parking. There is additional roadside parking available.
