If you plan to have your holiday in Port Dickson, you must check this museum out! Recommended! It’s very easy to access from roadside but do bear in mind as there is only staircase from the parking entrance. Those who’s in wheelchairs, can go to the other entrance where you can drive your car up to drop off but it won’t be convenient to go up 2nd floor exhibition rooms as there aren’t any elevator available.

There are some parking space provided and It is free to visit this museum but they do have a few contribution box placed around the museum, the money collected would be sufficient for artifacts maintenance and improving the room ventilation as many air-conditioning are spoiled and not functioning inside the exhibit room.

Greeted by the fight jet display right at the top of the parking area. They have numbers of real artifacts display such as land combat trucks and transportation vehicles, tanks, aircraft and armored train and artillery display.

There are total 8 rooms with different exhibits guided by the footprints on the floor and the biggest highlight would be the underground museum which portrait the communist tunnel and their amenities.

There is a small cafe within the museum compound and hanging bridge nearby the resting area.

Do visit in the morning before the tour bus started to...

The Army Museum is undoubtedly the top museum in Port Dickson, and the best part is that it’s free to enter. However, be aware that parking within the compound is limited, so some visitors opt to park on the roadside just outside. This museum offers a comprehensive experience with outdoor, indoor, and even underground exhibits.

Outdoors, you’ll encounter an impressive array of military machinery, including tanks, trucks, jets, and helicopters. Inside, there are several sections that are truly worth exploring. A visit to this museum serves as a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by our front liners to protect our nation’s sovereignty.

To support the museum’s upkeep, donation boxes are thoughtfully placed within the building for visitors to contribute. It’s best to go in the morning to explore the outdoor exhibits, but be prepared for the scorching sun as there is limited shade. Restrooms are available, and there’s a shop where you can purchase drinks and small souvenirs.

As you explore, you might come across photographers offering to take pictures for a small fee; these can be collected at their booth when exiting the museum. All in all, the Army Museum is a must-visit in Port Dickson, given the city’s strong...

Entrance Starting January 2025, the admission fee will be charged. The adult admission fee is RM2, while the children's admission fee is RM1 for those aged below 12.

Atmosphere When you step into the museum compound, you'll be excited to see all the cannons, trains, and old armored cars. The sound effects really make you feel like you're back in time. There are galleries that narrate the story of every event and the history of that particular era. The one most exciting is PKM's tunnel. There is also a mini jungle with serene landscape, gazebo & hanging bridge.

Facility Facilities for prayer and restrooms are accessible. Additionally, there is a mosque in close proximity. There is also a gift shop and a food stall available. Parking is free, but there’s not a lot of it. Not sure if you can park on the side of the road.

Overall, this is the place that must be visited when you come to Port Dickson. It serves not only as a museum but also as an educational resource, particularly for our younger...
