Loving it and worth my trip here. Few good thing that I really like about Gunung Datuk is it had quite good facilities as well as accessibility as it just slightly under 1.5 drive from KL/PJ. Waze will bring you right up to the park entrance. It will be a nice drive with lots of greenery along the NSE expressway.

Eventhough is just slightly under 900m in height, the hike is quite challenging as you need to tackle the elevation - the trail is quite steep all the way up. Lots of tree roots and rocky trails you need to pass through. So, you need to be extra cautious.

Getting to the peak and seeing the giant granite boulders with ladders is definitely one of a kind and amazing.

The view at the peak is simply heaven. You get to see 360 degree panaromic view of the misty hills and...

Very convenient please for hikers which you can pay RM5 for hiking permit on the spot. A very clear trail that suitable for all levels of hikers or outdoor activities lovers and it's suitable to bring your kids as well. You may catch the sunrise if you start your hike as earlier as 5 to 5.30am and the reward is magnificent if it rain night before. This place very crowded during weekends and quiet during weekdays. The restaurant or warung at the parking area only open for business on weekends. Theere is a toilet and bathroom for you to take your shower and change after your hike. Hiking permit can be purchased from 8am to 12.30pm...
