The Custom Museum = Muzium Adat (Department of Museums Malaysia) in Kuala Klawang, Jelebu is approximately 36 km from Seremban City. The museum was established in 2005 and officially opened on February 2, 2008, on the same Saturday as 24 Muharram 1429 Hijrah.

The existence of Indigenous Museums in Malaysia especially in Negeri Sembilan is in line with Negeri Sembilan's identity as the "Land of the Ages". This Indigenous Museum is the first museum in our country to bring together ethnic groups in Malaysia.

The museum also specializes in a special segment of Indigenous Peaches to promote Negeri Sembilan as a...

Free entrance. The museum has 3 levels of exhibition with each level has its own theme e.g. level 1 is on traditions of all races in Malaysia whilst level 3 has about traditions of Negeri Sembilan. Has elevator lift so it's OKU-friendly.

A giant traditional Malay headgear replica atop the main entrance welcomes visitors to Muzium Adat (Custom Museum). Three exhibition floors devoted to customs and culture of every ethnic group in Malaysia 🇲🇾. The building is well maintained, clean with elevator for easy access. Overall, a very informative, educational and interesting tour with a difference.

Interesting museum with a lot of Malaysia customs exhibit. A visit is good as knowing the whole Malaysia races and tribes practice, from birth to death. As usual museum need to improve on lighting and display facilities regularly. There is a bubble lift too but hot as located outside the building.

Congratulations Muzium Adat! Well presentation & displayed. A lot of information about custom, culture and taboo for multiple ethnic in Malaysia including Malay, Chinese, Indian, Orang Asli, and some Sabah & Sarawak ethnic. Free entrance fee for public and good service from staff.
