Hutan Lipur Bukit Pelindung — Attraction in Pahang

The most famous hiking trek in kuantan.It is about 5km from Kuantan town.You can  either take Teluk Sisek road or Jalan Beserah and exit to Jalan Tengku Muhamad.The main trek is a 2km, 30 to 45 degree incline  tarmac road leading to telecommunication towers. There are more jungle trails on the right and left side of the road.From here you can also trek to Teluk Cempedak and it takes about 40 minutes. There are various trails found here such the Tasik Trail, Trail 1380, Covid Trail, De Embassy Trail and a simple trail from Teluk Chempedak leading to a mini waterfall. Bukit Pelindung comes alive especially on weekends and trekkers begin the tarmac walk as early 5.30 am.Night trekking is also gaining popularity among Kuantan folks in Bukit Pelindung. There's two trail going down to the beach from Pelindung hill. One is the popular trail of Meranti Seraya, by the fruit stall which my 5yo could complete 💪💪. It is a 30-40min brisk walk till you reach Teluk Cempedak with many trekkers going back and forth. The other trail is secluded with almost no one passing through. Located behind the second tower on the first junction on the right, it is a steep path going down, 1hr plus walk will bring you to Pelindung beach and another hour walk by the beach to Teluk Tongkang and Teluk Cempedak. It was my 1st time hiking to bukit pelindung. I was expecting it to be easy but somehow it is moderate. It took me about 30 mins to get to the top. But the thing is i didnt know which one is the top because of the forked trail that each lead to different peak. The trail is steep..almost 60 degree. They said that i can see kuantan city from the peak. Unfortunately, i cant see it due the closure of the path..where snakes have been sighted there.
