Pros: Free Trail is fairly long. Good for decent workout. Excellent spot for education about mangrove ecosystem. Lots of monkeys. Plenty of shade above - not warm even during late morning/noon. Trail ends at a river. Rather scenic.
Cons: Monkeys are aggressive and hungry. We witnessed snatching of car keys and ice-cream from hands of visitors during that one visit! I am quite sure they are breeding out of control, probably not properly fed too. Near the hanging bridge area, we witnessed at least 20 mother carrying their younglings. Lots of mosquitos. No stalls selling food or drinks. Lack of maintenance. Many parts of the track are broken. Rusted steels with sharp edges are left exposed. Hanging bridge is closed. No notice when will it be open to public again. Bridge is now occupied by lots of monkeys, almost like planet of the ape kind...

Different types of mangroves are planted here with the signboard to show the trees name. You may also see estuary from the park. (The canopy walk was broken during my visit, the friendly security guard explained that a visitor accidently broke the canopy bridge.)
The whole park is shady and comfortable. You may also see the animals such as squirrel, giant salamander, butterflies, dragonflies, mini crabs & etc in the park. Most important is beware of the monkeys near exit and car parks.
