Restoran Lumut Ikan Bakar — Restaurant in Perak

The food wasn't that good but the service was quite fast. I don't recommend you to eat here unless you aren't that picky on how the food taste. I ordered ikan pari bakar, sotong goreng tepung, ikan bawal 3 rasa, kangkung ikan masin and tomyam sayur. The ikan pari was undercooked and had to ask them to cook it again and they sent back a hangus ikan pari. Sotong goreng tepung had a batter like pisang goreng. Kuah asam that came with ikan pari and sotong goreng tepung tasted SUPER WEIRD and sour. Ikan bawal 3 rasa and kangkung ikan masin were okay. Tomyam sayur was so-so, could've been improved by adding more tomyam paste. And the price was quite expensive for the thing I've ordered and wasn't worth it at all but can be considered normal for fresh seafood (unfortunately the seafood I got wasn't that fresh). The service provided by the staff was very poor, not friendly at all, not even a smile(probably only want your money). The menu given was totally misleading. Only picked and freshly cooked seafood is available. You can't order ala carte food here. Something as simple as "udang and sotong celup tepung is sadly unavailable". Common food kottt tu pon tak boleh provide. The ambiance and the vibes were gloomy and not really welcoming. Not even worth...

Please don’t even consider this place. It’s the worse place to have dinner. The servers have absolutely no manners. I had to ask the server three times to take our orders, to which he completely ignored. Biadap. If you can’t manage the crowd, hire more people. No apology whatsoever. We walked out of the place and went to the restaurant across the road which is so much more efficient and clean. It’s called Mama...
