Dong Hua Cave temple is one of the oldest Taoist temples in Ipoh Perak. The temple is located at the end corner of a small industrial area for car workshops and repair; this temple is another gem landmark in Ipoh.
The temple is on the top of a limestone cave, divided into two temples. The first temple inside the cave is the place to pray to Budhist Monk Xuanzang. If you continue to walk up to the top, there is another big temple inside the cave for Taoist Praying. You need to open your shoes before entering the temple inside the cave.
Visitor can make a prayer and donate. Both temples were covered by metal door and window due to many monkeys in this temple. You need to close and lock the door to avoid monkey come into the temple.
Once you reach the too, you can view the beautiful scenery of Sunway and Ulu Kinta district.
On the ground level next to this temple, there is a chamber for meditation.
