When I read that there is minigolf in the park, I made up my mind that I wanted to visit Spritzer EcoPark during my Taiping trip.
We reached the park at around 4pm. The place was still quite empty, and parking spots were abundant. We went straight to rent the equipment for minigolf. The staff were very friendly and helpful. For a fee of RM15 per person, each of us got a putter and a golf ball in the colour of our choice. There was no time limit on how long we could play.
The game was actually quite fun, especially when friendly competitions were involved. Each of the 18 courses was designed with some challenge in mind. The course that gave us the deepest impression was hole-16 (you'll know why when you try it).
There were also quite a few spots in the park that were very suitable for taking pictures. We had a good time walking around the park and taking pictures after some golfing. The public toilet was surprisingly fitted with motion sensors: lights were automatically turned on when we entered.
At around 5:30pm, people were slowly arriving at the park, and there were people in almost every minigolf course. I think the putters would have been fully rented out if you arrived late. We finally decided to leave the place at around 6:30pm. We had to return the putter, but we got to keep the golf ball as souvenir. We also got a bottle of drinking water each for free for returning the putters. Interestingly, the bottles were designed to look like gold balls.
Being in a tropical wooded area, there were quite a lot of mosquitoes during my visit. Repellent is highly recommended.
Overall, it was a fun and memorable experience here in the park. I'd consider visiting again if a chance presents itself...
Read moreThere’s a palpable sense of confusion hanging in the air, like the stale water that the park is so desperately trying to sell. Spritzer EcoPark brands itself as an "innovative, sustainable theme park," but it’s more of a half-baked collection of random attractions strung together by a vague hope that something might stick. I can’t even begin to wonder how the love-lock fence, the "three wise monkeys" statues, and a random basketball court tie into the brand.
Good luck learning anything about Spritzer beyond a wall of infographics hastily slapped together and labelled the "Discovery Tunnel". Awards are shoved into corners like afterthoughts. The park seems almost embarrassed by its own brand. The only thing consistently marketed is the overpriced bottled water you can buy in bulk at the shop. This is, of course, accompanied by generic trinkets you’d find at any pasar malam, because nothing says "eco-friendly" like mass-produced junk.
There’s little to no actual entertainment here unless you're a fan of mini-golf. The rest of the park could have been plucked straight out of a corporate team-building retreat. The staff are disinterested, the food is lacklustre, and the attractions are all scattered, unremarkable bits of fluff that fail to inspire. If you’re looking for a playground for monkeys, you’re better off heading to Taiping Zoo for...
Read moreI recently visited Spritzer Eco Park, and it was a refreshing experience! The park offers a perfect blend of nature, relaxation, and fun activities, making it a great spot for families, couples, and even solo visitors looking for a peaceful retreat.
One of the highlights of the park is its lush greenery and well-maintained landscape, providing a serene environment to unwind. I enjoyed walking along the trails, surrounded by tall trees and fresh air—an excellent escape from city life.
The park also features mini golf, a kids’ playground, and a reflexology path, adding some fun and wellness to the visit. I particularly appreciated the water education tour, where I learned about natural mineral water and the importance of environmental conservation.
The Spritzer souvenir shop is worth checking out, offering unique products, including their famous bottled mineral water. There’s also a cozy café where you can relax and enjoy a refreshing drink.
Overall, Spritzer Eco Park is a hidden gem for those who appreciate nature and eco-friendly experiences. It’s well-maintained, clean, and offers a great mix of leisure and learning. I highly recommend it for a...
