This is a Jungle reserve, suitable for beginner and kids too, easy to moderate trail. I enjoy seeing the tall trees and a cooling natural environments. Plenty of chances to enjoy the beauty of the nature, such as blooming mushrooms, big diameter trees, full of negative iron which is so refreshing and good generally for our health.
Even though the trail is friendly, but, a good pair of HIKING 🥾 SHOES IS A MUST! It protect your foot and angle and good grips on ground to prevent slippery.
Plenty of water, to me min of 1 Liter bottle of water. Do bring along some Salt water and Food or Energy Bar to Refill your Energy, to prevent you from collapsing when energy drained off.
Raincoat. Happend that last Saturday 22/7/2023 had a morning rain and we had prepared in advance some simple raincoat that allowed us to continue our journey and enjoy the nature peacefully.....
Hiking stick: it will support you and save your energy especially going down hill(descending).
Limited carpark during weekend, so start your hike as early as 7am to enjoy easy parking.
Entrance fee to enter jungle is RM2.00, and REMEMBER return the pass to the office when you end your hike. Or else the Perhutanan Officer may think that you are missing in the jungle😎😜.
Enjoy the nature and back...

The trail starts off shaded with lush greenery, then gradually gets steeper. It’s not too intense, but definitely enough to get your heart rate up—great for beginners looking to level up or regular hikers wanting a short workout.
At the peak, you’re greeted with a stunning view overlooking the forest canopy, highways, and the skyline of Kota Damansara and beyond. It’s a peaceful contrast—urban development in the distance, and nature all around you. If the weather plays nice, you’ll get some gorgeous sky tones too!
Pro tips:
Best to hike early morning or late afternoon to avoid the heat.
Wear trail shoes—the surface near the peak can be rocky and slightly slippery.
Bring water and bug repellent!
Perfect for: casual hikers, nature lovers, and anyone wanting a short, rewarding escape...
Read moreI think this is the least popular trail you can take from section 10, because its the furthest and more challenging.

It does take away a bit more energy at the start - so u may be more tired when u come to the actual climb up to the peak. If u want to avoid this, then i suggest taking the shorter route via Temuan trail.
Its 10km return if u walk from the guardhouse to denai salleh then up to denai serenity and beyond. A bit shorter if take denai serenity straight from...
