My first visit was quite interesting as I have never been there before. The place is very clean. I love the small lake in the middle of the park. There's a washroom at the entrance. Free entry for visitors. Ample parking spaces. The best of all about this park is there are a few fruit trees planted in it. I wonder if visitors are allowed to pluck them and take them home. I should have asked... Maybe in my next visit... Thus far, I love the place as when I was there it was late afternoon and not many visitors in the park. That gave me time to explore evey single corner of the park. I ventured to the "off path"... among the trees. There are quite a few selections of beautiful looking flowers in the area. For parking, you need to park at the side of the road. But the situation would be the same if it was packed with people at peak time even without any construction or maintenance because the parking lot is limited.
The surrounding view is quite serene with the greens. One thing lacking is the lake. The thick rusty colour doesn't look inviting. The fish in it also looks like they are not being fed enough.
The track here wasn't that big. Need to make around 3 laps to get 1 km count. Suitable for those who want to start to do light brisk walk.

Read moreThis park that's the nearest to our house has grown and matured over the years. The short little trees are all grown up and the park is beginning to look nicer.
I do wish it is bigger but I guess this was planned as a small neighbourhood park for residents living there.
My wife and I prefer to walk along the main road adjacent to the park. The road is wide and has less vehicle traffic.
In the earlier hours of the morning around 7.00 to 8.30 am and in the evening around 5.00 to 7.00 pm is when you see this road come alive with walkers, joggers, families playing badminton, even couples...
