This should be one of the better off island off Kuala Terengganu due to the limited resort operators, hence, limited number of tourists. However, it is very sad that the entire beach is litter with rubbish and plastics are the main culprit. The resort operators, the people who are working on these resorts and the tourists visiting these resorts need to do better and care more of the environment. It would be great for resort operators to educate tourists upon their arrival as part of their welcome orientation and entirely ban plastic bottles, cups and etc. The government of Malaysia should do better to ban plastic bottles on marine park areas. The dead corals is a sad sight to see, thought the problem only plague the Perhentian and Redang Islands due to its sheer numbers of visitors, didn’t expect the same happened to this island. Please save our nature our islands and the ocean.

Visited this island 10 months ago and fell in love with the place. On previous visit, managed to cleared up tons of plastic bottles from the shore. Now after virus locked down and 10 months later, same place, same shore, those plastic bottles are back (this time I came back with biodegradable bin bags). The state government and federal government in general should banned plastic bottles on the island. And we as visitor on the island as well as intelligent human beings should think deep before using these bottles and simply littering them everywhere and into drains, rivers and the ocean. Thank you Sari Pacifica Resort on helping to manage and disposed them off.

As part of our Langkawi island hopping. Just a stop by for maybe five minutes and we viewing whatever we could from the boat. Of course, the central attraction is Helang, or eagles flying up and about and closer to the water and the surrounding. My-My! Lang Tengah Island. As part of Langkawi and its pride.

This island must have been a real paradise 10 years ago. Now it is a shadow of what it probably was 10 years ago. The island is small but, despite this, there are several different resorts, one of which has been abandon. The water is cristal clear and warm. The sand is white and very fine. Sadly, it is easy to see the kind of impact that human activity is having on the environment. In the beaches in front of the resorts, you'll find planty of dead corals. They turn white and they die. When you get into the water it really seems to be entering into a coral graveyard. Very sad. The only part of the island where you can still see a lot of corals alive and, consequently, plenty of fishes, is on the other side of the island, where there are no resorts. Not only the sea is clearly suffering even the island itself is damaged by human activity. If you walk a little and look carefully around, you'll find plenty of spots with plastic bottles and garbage. People working on the island and even the tourists show little respect for the nature. By walking on the dirt path the connects the several different resorts, you will see garbage all over the place and you'll walk into the abandon resort. Clearly, they didn't remove it nor they have restored the soil. Everything has been left on the island and it is turning the area into a rubbish dump. It was so sad to see how people are ruining such an amazing island and its environment. I hope that local authorities will show some interest for environmental protection and not only for money. #savelangtenagh...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Lang Tengah Island and was blown away by the stunning natural beauty and pristine beaches. The island is truly a hidden gem, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation.

The accommodations on the island have improved since my last visit, with several new resorts and hotels offering modern amenities and comfortable rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I felt well taken care of throughout my stay.

One of the highlights of my trip was the snorkeling and diving opportunities. The clear waters around Lang Tengah are home to a variety of marine life, including colorful fish and coral reefs. I was amazed by the underwater landscapes and had a wonderful time exploring them.

In addition to water activities, there are also several hiking trails on the island that offer breathtaking views of the surrounding scenery. I particularly enjoyed the trail to the island's highest point, where I was able to see panoramic views of the ocean and nearby islands.

Overall, Lang Tengah Island is a must-visit destination for anyone who loves nature and wants to experience a tranquil and rejuvenating vacation. With its stunning beaches, clear waters, and diverse wildlife, it truly offers something for everyone. I can't wait to return and explore more of this...
